Great show! Super informative. I think the only thing I would change is that you scroll really fast through the screen shots, so if you could slow down on your mousing and maybe hit three key points to make it easier to comprehend. The visuals are great, tho, and now I can see those glands that are giving me trouble!
Another good topic of interest to me would be how the sun affects your eyes and damage that can be caused by it. Thanks!
Jeff, I enjoyed the video lesson. This could be a good way to help us understand some functions of our eyes. I hope you explore doing more of this education. Keep it short sweet and on point. I did have to turn my volumn up all the way to hear you comfortably. Maybe I need a video regarding my ears, also.
Hi Jeff, I really want to learn more about this but even with my volume turned up all the way I could not hear it and my hearing is supposedly fine. I agree with Mike – succinct would help. Good first effort.
This was fascinating, but perhaps a bit disorganized. Re: punctal plugs. This seems to be treating only the symptoms without addressing the cause. Isn’t there some way to stimulate tear production. I can imagine the the puncta also drain some impurities or waste as well as just excess tears.
Very nice presentation! I had no trouble with the sound; it matched other clips. You had a lot to cover, especially to people who don’t have a good grasp of the complex anatomy and functioning of the eye. I agree that we would like more of these, but each one more carefully focused on what can be gleaned in a very few minutes.
Thanks for the effort you must have put into this. The graphics were great but went by a tad fast. I would appreciate hearing/seeing your feelings about:
transition glasses;
dietary cautions for 70 year-old eyes;
other eye care issues
Great idea. Liked the info and format. Hope you will be adding other topics and create a laymans library. I did not have any problem viewing / or hearing this both on my smart phone (a testimate to my eye care with you) and later on my computer.
DR. Lewis, Great presentation. Very informative. I don’t even have dry eyes but I enjoyed the clip. It was better than “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” Ha ha ha – sorry, I’m still in Academy mode. Seriously, this is very cool and I will pass it along to a co-worker who is being treated for dry eyes.
Great job Dr. Lewis! I think the only thing to change would be to scroll through the screen shots a little slower. The video was very informative and your presentation was precise and clear. I would also like more information on Blepharitis. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
Dr. Lewis, Just wanted to share a great drink that can be used to get that nasty flax seed oil down. Take a glass of orange juice, one shot of Hornitos Tequila, one shot of Triple Sec, and a teaspoon ( or more) of flax seed oil. You can purchase all of the ingredients at Trader Joe’s but I am not too sure if they sell the flax seed oil. And don’t forget the squeeze of lime!

Thanks for doing this, it is interesting. I love the format.
But the sound is hard to hear, very soft – can you increase volume of sound?
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Dr. Lewis,
The volume worked perfectly for me. It’s a cool system and it
looks like it could be a big help for a lot of people.
Thanks!

Thanks Dr. Lewis. I’d like to see something like this for Blepharitis. Remember to keep the vocal energy up so we can hear all of your narration.
